MEET DAVID
I am a landscape and nature photographer as well as an accomplished studio and portrait photographer. As an airline pilot by trade and an unconditional lover of landscape and nature in general, I dedicated my free time to exploring the diversity and beauty of our planet. My passion for photography began in 1980, as a young yearbook photographer working in the darkroom. After a long hiatus, I picked up the camera again in 2014 and haven’t looked back. In recent years I turned my passion for photography into a profession; obtaining a PPA professional photographer’s certification and opened a studio in Southeastern Massachusetts. I am passionate about capturing landscapes, environmental portraits, and wildlife through my lens, always seeking natural beauty in its purest form. As a landscape photographer, my goal is to bring the viewer into the image and experience what I was experiencing as I stood before the scene. In the studio, I use an extensive knowledge of lighting and modifiers to create an artistic and professional image in both portraiture and dance.
